Importing and Exporting Data

You may have important data to work with that are outside of Excel. You can import data into excel using in the Import Data feature. This demo shows how to import a text file. The text file (.txt extension) is a common type of file that gets imported into Excel. The demo below explains how to import a text file into Excel using the Import Text Wizard.

Go to File in the Menu Bar, click Save As, select the file type you want to export your workbook as, and click Save.
